However, when OpenAI released ChatGPT 4o, it can now generate images! I was surprised that 4o can do that, even on the free plan. Here are two examples of how ChatGPT interpreted my prompts. First was for a simple illustration of a dog in a flowery field. Another was a social media post based on my last prompt’s image.
Quick Review of Images
It appears that ChatGPT 4o can generate a decent image that matches other AI design generators. The first image, the one with a dog, was nice and followed my prompt.
However, it needs more work on the social media post I requested. I prompted it to use the copy. ChatGPT didn’t interpret that correctly, and my copy was gibberish. Plus, it added more copies than what I needed.
How to Get Designs Using ChatGPT
Dall-E
Dall-E is OpenAI’s image generator. Unfortunately, there’s no free option to use Dall-E. You should subscribe to the Plus plan and above to get image generators. Additionally, there are limited generations even on the Plus plan.
