If you need to learn about time management, Emelaine is your gal. But, despite the seriousness of her answers, Emelaine is described as a “goofball” by one of our team members. That just goes to show how much she cares about her work.
1. What is your best trait?
I’m a very straightforward person. I never sugar-coat everything I say and since I like expressing my opinions people tend to have a different opinion about me.
2. What trait do you wish you had?
They said, patience is a virtue… to attain this virtue I wish to master the art of being patient. I got like 10% of it, but when it boils down to zero. You have to stay away, especially when things don’t go the way I wanted I easily grew impatient.
3. If you could be a kid again, what would you do differently?
Honestly, being a kid doesn’t give you a lot of options in life. You don’t have a say or you’re not allowed to have a decision because you are “just” a kid especially in a Filipino culture. So if I were a kid again, I would like my parents to give me an option to do what I want and to freely choose what I want to be when I become an adult. (but still with their guidance of course).
4. What are you most confident about that you could teach others?
Time Management. I’m really good at this one, especially when it comes to work. Since not everyone knows how to manage their time properly.
5. If you had to pick one person from Penji to go on a game show with a $1,000,000 prize with you, who would it be?
Kenny. We’ve been team mates ever since and he’s one of the front runners in last year’s Team Building and I’m going to make sure we’re going to win that prize money. LOL
6. What is your favorite font and why?
Poppins. I like the way the letter G & C curves and how the R has bars and the perfect amount of legs…Now I feel like I’m describing something here. LOL. For me, they are perfect to use in social media, documents, etc.
7. How do you show people you care?
I’m really shy when I show that I care, I really feel awkward and It’s like it’s not in my personality to be soft. I only do this to a few people close to me, I listen to them, I treat them to good food and spend my whole day with them just to let them know that I’m here for them. Those are the few things I do.
8. If you were a chef, what food would you serve?
I don’t have the talent for cooking. But if I were to be a chef, there’s 2 dishes I want to cook: Lasagna, one of my favorite food and Tocino, because it’s easy to cook and I’m pretty sure I’m not going to burn this one.
9. What makes your friends so awesome?
I only have a small circle of friends that I truly trust. Our relationships are really unbreakable, they see me at my lowest and they stay behind my back until I learn to get up on my feet again. I wouldn’t trade them with anything in this world, they are more like a family to me.
10. Who is your favorite fictional character?
A sharp, intelligent Sherlock Holmes and the imaginative, red-haired Anne Shirley of Green Gables, by the way she’s lucky to have Gilbert Blythe.
11. What would make your day instantly better?
Aside from money and world peace, it would be my dog. Luna has been my emotional support, my stress reliever and my little cheerleader.
